BTS Maintenance
Corrective and preventive maintenance of the BTS equipments in the Cell Sites:

Voltage Standing Wave Ratio Measurements “VSWR” checking and rectification of reflections from Connectors / jumpers / Antennas.

Connectorization Checks (Tightening of nuts & bolts, Cables, Isolators).

Antenna Azimuth correction.
-
Tx/RX Calibrations.
-
BSS Alarm (major and minor) handling and replacement of faulty parts.
-
RF Antenna replacement, if required and set azimuth if there is any mismatching from the planned.

RF feeder Cable or indoor/outdoor jumper replacement if required.

Repairing of Water proofing of all connectors from BTS to Antenna input connector.

Inspection and maintenance of RF Feeder Cables and clamping if required.

Updating and maintaining the labels of indoor/outdoor jumpers, cabinets, DDF.

Checking all the BTS hardware’s i.e. DXU, DRU and connection cables and replacing if required.

Collecting equipment inventory during visiting.
MW Maintenance
- Transmission Change order services “Link Upgrade, change Transmission routing and so on”.
- Sites Migration and re-parenting as per BSC design and Transmission Network design orders.
- Checking the RSL of M/W hops and realign MW link if required, and check connectors and cabling grounding of the antenna.
- Checking and Clearing of alarms on Microwave link's & hardware equipments.
- Inspection and maintenance of Tributary cables in BSC/TX rooms & BTS sites.
- Check and maintain connector water proof.
- Check and maintain ODU and IDU fixation.
- Check and maintain ODU and IDU connectors fixing with IF cable, and water proofing.
- Check and maintain power connection to IDU.
- Replace faulty IDU, ODU equipment and cabling if required.
