Family Mall Erbil celebrates it's first anniversary on the 15th December 2011, a year that has seen the mall establish itself as the premier shopping location in Iraq. Brands such as Mango and Mothercare have now joined this success story along with many other leading local and Turkish retailers.

The first week of January sees the opening in Family Mall Erbil of the Carrefour Hypermarket, some 10,000 m2 on two floors offering a vast range of food and non food items. This is the first of several stores to open  in partnership with Darin Group, two more locations in Erbil are planned. New Carrefour Hypermarkets in Suliamania and Dohuk are now under construction and will open 2014.

Carrefour the second biggest supermarket group in the world have shown their faith in Darin Group and Iraq by pioneering these state of the art retail projects in new Family Malls.
